Spanky's Place

Well, here I am all checked in, unpacked, fed, and ready for bed. Seeing as I'm presenting this year, I'm staying onsite. The Dolphin & Swan were booked by the time I found out I was presenting, so I'm staying at the Beach Club.

The room, while not nearly as big as the one I stayed at last year (offsite, for a LOT less money), is reasonably sized, and tastefully decorated. It has a nice sized bathroom with double sinks, and local & (Disney) cable TV.

High speed internet access is available (for nine friggin ninety five per 24 hour period). Jeesh, with what they are charging for the room, you'd think they could handle this cost. Oh, and by the way, it's not wireless. Good thing I'm a bit obsessive-compulsive and brought along an extra ethernet cable.

The room does have one really nice thing. It has a refridgerator. Stocked with beer. My beer. Life is good.
