!!! was I just that stupid? yep, I sure was. (I should have typed in "del sync*.log").

Did I have a backup? Heh, do you think I would be typing this now if I did? Yes, this is an NTFS partition, and NO, I can't load any "file recovery" tools onto it, as there are currently none on the "allowed" list here at work. 

Time to go home and cry.

Gravatar Image1 - It happens to all of us. In my case, it went like this...

cd project
cd bim
rm -fr *

If I hadn't noticed the typo on line two (should have been "bin") about half a second after, pressing the return key on line three, the entire project source tree would have been gone. As it was, only a couple of minor directories were trashed. Lucky me.
